I don't believe you can unless you use some kind of site, suck as keepvid.com, or something similar. If you still have the raw file, (format such as .avi, MPE-G 4,) then just upload that. If it's your video, you should still have a file like that. If you don't, keepvid sounds like your solution.

Can you put music on a Facebook, and if so, can u post something from Project Playlist??

I'm thinking about deleting my MySpace, but I want to keep my music. I know it's sitting in the database of Project Playlist as a URL, but I want my playlist to be on my Facebook page. Is there a way of doing this??

Yes, it's very easy. I use iLike so just go and look it up on the left. It's an application, just download it to your page and then customize it (I think others use project playlist too, there's a bunch).

I got on today and all of the sudden it was all fancy looking. There were a few boxes that i didnt want on there and then i noticed a 'Customize Your Homepage' button. I clicked on it and now all that shows up is one video on the homepage.

if you want your copy/paste codes to work, you have to first clear out all the myspace profile editor code

maybe you used the profile editor because you wanted your private page to have colors?

if that's the case, then you can no longer use copy/paste layouts

you have to pick one or the other - you cannot mix them

A) Your Movie Makeing program exported it that way

B) Youtube didn't compress the video correctly, in that case try converting your video to a new format,

Have a play around and choose different screen options, 4.3,16.9, or even auto if you have the option.

The black bars on the top and bottom are beacuse the clip is in widescreen, i would choose 4.3 aspect ratio when converting them and this may fill your screen and remove the bars

1. Keep clicking back and then click on "Answer This Question." Do that a few more times.

2. Close Safari and get back into it. (First copy the address and then paste it back in when you open Safari again.)

3. Restart your computer and try it over again.

Arghhh!! That doesn't make any sense to me. I don't remember my e-mail password and have been trying to reset it and all that, and I get this weird message:

Put the country you belong to, and give the answer to the secret question you made.

That's kinda easy :) All you do is go to "edit your video" and you should have a choice of 3 different pictures.

But I believe, in addition to that, you can browse to select a picture.

You get 3 options you have for still images.

You CAN edit the video to where there are 1, 2, or 3 still images that you like though. The 3 images are set at 25%, 50%, and 75% of the video. =)

I have always thought that the term "Overlay" doesn't describe it as well as "Layout".

Who came up with the Overlay term anyway?

I suspect it is from the days when people just covered up the page, before they figured out it was better to just remove the default content.

Maybe, "Underlay" since some of the core content is played on top of the div.

Or just "Layout" is probably a better description.

You can make your own, and put as many boxes as you want on it.

Reply:On the top right hand of the screen look for a little link in white letters that should say "skip this ad". I think you're just seeing an ad that automatically pops up when you sign in. Just find the link that says skip this link.

The other thing you could do is after you log in, click the "home" link that is towards the top left next to "browse", "search", "invite" etc. That should take you back to your profile.

If you think your profile has been phished, change your password when you reach your home page.

PS don't use the same password that you have for you email for your myspace! if you did then change your email password too. I've heard of people losing all kinds of important info because the email and myspace end up high jacked.

Notes: If the music is new released, then you won't allow to upload it. It will require Copyright. It also can make your myspace music account suspended. Some old music also require Copyright if it's not your own.

Well yes. If you don't want him to comment you anymore, just simply delete him. Or you can block him by go to his profile, then click on block user under profile pic. I think you should set your profile private if you haven't done so by going to Edit profile. Then click on Account Settings on the top right. Then click on Spam. You'll see many chioces. Find Comments then place a check mark on the first choice ( Require Approval before comments are posted )

I wouldn't. If you already have usenet access through your isp I'd check some of the free nzb sites like www.merlins-portal.net. Torrents are peer to peer so you download speed depends on the speed of the users you are sharing with, usenet comes straight off the server. I have a 6 mb dsl and access to giganews, that alows me to download a 700 mb xvid movie in about 15 minutes.

You're going to get alll sorts of people saying use FIREFOX. it's a better browser to begin with. I know you probably don't like change, but it's for the better. It's a more secure browser and has better pop up control in it too. Also, try downloading Advanced Windows Care from iobit.com It'll help you optimize your Firefox browser so it's even faster than before

The "stumbleupon" button that was always there disappeared all of the sudden I think someone got on my computer and accidently did something. In iPhoto- highlight which pictures you want to export, then on the menu click "File" then "Export"... another box will pop up where you click "Facebook" then Login and you can tag and make comments... then you export them, sign into Facebook and you will have a "pending album"... then you can approve the photos...

Flair and Bumper Stickers and others are all Applications- you can add them by clicking on other people's that you want then it will redirect you to a page with an option to add that application...

It is really simple all you have to do is search Google and you will find numerous websites with tools to customize your layout or you can use some that someone else already created. Then all you do is copy the code they gave you into your profile, save changes and your done! All thats left is to wait for your freinds to be jealous. ;)

okay so i made a video in windows movie maker. tried transferring it to youtube came up as error message (please change to .WMV format. so i changed it to windows media player and i did it correctly. however, when it transferred to wmv it did not transfer totally like it misses parts of the video (kind of a fast pace video with different beats played over and over in different forms) so how can i fix this problem? i want this to be a clear video and have it on youtube. thorough explanation is gladly accepted! thanks to all! 10 pts best answer!

It's an overlay.

You'll have to get a black overlay (DIV) layout and cover everything (hide everything). Besides the about me of course. She obviosuly made it herself. It's quite easy. Just hide everything. I mean even the orange bars in the about me that says "Blurbs". EVERYTHING. Well I'm good with HTML so it's easy. You'll eventually figure it out. Go around to layout sites and ask though.

Well once you have that. Just put a picture in it, then a simple comment box. With links like she did. Common

those are used to link friends to comment/message/add.

And walahhh.

When I go to "home" on youtube, all it shows is "Promoted videos" and then underneath is just a bunch of white space.

QUESTION: How do I get it back to the old way where it shoes a bunch of videos and at the top where it shows videos from subscriptions?

The same thing is happening to me. I'm sorry, but I don't know how to fix it. But, if you want to see if you have any messages click on that envelope next to your username.

If you want to see the featured videos, just click on the Videos tab near the top of the page and under where it says "All - Most viewed today" look for "Featured" and click on it.

If you want to see your subscriptions, put your cursor over "Account" (Next to "Quicklist") then a little list thing will appear. Just click on "Subscriptions" and your subscriptions should appear.

I'm pretty sure that the problem will be fixed eventually. ^^

I've had FB for a few months now. I noticed on some of my friends' profiles you can read what someone wrote on their wall, but you can't read the wall-to-wall dialogue.

Meaning, I can see what someone wrote on my friend Mike's wall, but not what he wrote in response.

How can I make mine the same way?

I looked all through the settings but couldn't figure out how to do this.

It's not your friend's setting, it's the other friend in the wall-to-wall...

For example, I can read my friend Amy's wall, but if Miranda wrote on it and Miranda and I aren't friends and her profile is set to private, then I can't read the wall-to-wall...

Easiest fix, add anyone that you want to read in a wall-to-wall...otherwise, you're just s.o.l.

It depends on what network you belong to, and what network the other person belongs to... Example: If you're in the Washington DC Network, then you can't view wall-to-wall posts from someone in Kentucky's network, even though one person is your friend. Does that make sence? Idk it's hard to explain.

a) he is friends with the other person, or

b) the other person has their settings such that friends-of-friends can read their profile, or

c) the other person has their settings such that people in their networks can read their profile, and your ex is in that network

obviously you cannot control these three things. i suggest either you send your friends completely private messages (click inbox up the top of your facebook) or not write private things on their walls.
Reply:First of all are you friends with this other person if not, that is the way that person set there settings.

If you are it just my be a limited profile view meaning that just set certains people to not see some of the information on your profile. How you do it well first click on privacy then profile then click on the arrow for each appl photos, walls, contact inf etc. make sure you click on customize, when you click on that, a box pops out and you choose the options, you can even type in a friends name so they can't see it.

Do you have a DivX dvd player?

If this is so then you will need to do a few things:

1: Copy the youtube video to your computer http://pine.kuso.cc/youtube/

2: Convert the video to .avi file format http://www.erightsoft.com/S6Kg1.html

3: copy the file to a cd or dvd, and play it in your dvd player.

If you do not have a DivX dvd player, then you will have to burn the converted YouTube file to a dvd(this will me really bad quality), or a S-Video CD.

Either way, Download the Video, Convert it to AVI or MPEG and go from there depending on the type of DVD player you have.

To grab the video use Orbit. It is free and easy to use. It will download the video in FLV(flash video format) which can be readily replayed on your computer.

To watch it on a dvd player you will have to convert the FLV file to avi and then to VOB. For this I use SuperDvdCreator. It does cost about $30., but there are also many free utilities out there that will also do a fine job. Just google "dvd authoring"

This is the fastest way.

Just use it to download and convert to mpg format. Ensure you use dvd conversion setting to convert to better quality mpg video format.
