Cant open internet explorer, and my computer freezes about every 3 mintues?

i cant open my internet explorer, but i can sign on instant messenger, so i had my friend send me fire fox through instant messenger, and fire fox works, but my internet explorer wont open, and my computer freezes about every 3 minutes for about 5 seconds, so can someone help me out and tell me if there is anyway i can fix this, thanks

You're going to get alll sorts of people saying use FIREFOX. it's a better browser to begin with. I know you probably don't like change, but it's for the better. It's a more secure browser and has better pop up control in it too. Also, try downloading Advanced Windows Care from iobit.com It'll help you optimize your Firefox browser so it's even faster than before

I would suspect a virus first, and i would also suggest never using Internet explorer, it is junk and very vulnerable, keep using firefox. Here is a link to check for viruses.

Reply:You have to scan your computer through any anitvirus first then the problem with internet explorer reinstall it again but i would recommend you to use firefox rather than explorer, microsoft always have some kind of problem with explorer they probably didnt have the script written right or something wrong with the server.
