Is it true that facebook posts/tracks/adds to mini feed what websites youve visited?

Not websites. Just things that happen on facebook.

facebook has recently added a function whereby if you opt in to it, facebook will indeed post to your minifeed and your friends news feeds certain actions done on certain other websites.
However please note you have to agree to this being done, it is easy to find in your application/privacy settings. Also it is only certain websites and certain actions, e.g. buying things from them, not just where you visit on the web.
