How to convince my mom to say yes for a myspace?!?
are you at least 14?

if not, then you are not allowed to have a myspace profile
How to convince my mom to say yes for a myspace?!?
what momma dont know wont hurt her.
Reply:If you can go on yahoo answers why do you have to ask their permission? Just go to the website there%26#039;s no service charge.
Reply:Tell them you will give them the password as well so they can check up on you and see you%26#039;re not doing anything wrong.

How old are you anyway?
Reply:just do it...u dont have to pay or anything, and plus how will your mom find out if she doesnt even know what it is.....
Reply:you should tell her that you can set privacy settings so no one you don%26#039;t approve can see you and also point out that a lot of people who are safe on myspace are fine. she%26#039;s probably just worried about some of the bad stories but myspace has gotten a lot safer since then.

good luck!
Reply:Take it slow...

Ask in a sweet nice way.

If they say no

tell them you will give them your password so they can check in.

Good Luck :D
Reply:if you have been begging, then wait a good bit of time.. They might be saying no because you are too young...
Reply:whats wrong with yahoo messenger get a cheap web cam and ur rolling
Reply:Just ask her if she will let you TRY it for a few weeks. If you do anything to violate her trust, then she can make you take it down. You have to be a good girl and don%26#039;t post anything provocative.
Reply:if youre okay with letting her monitor your account to make sure your not doing anything provocative, as many girls do, like posting racy pics of themselves, or dangerous, like talking to strangers, then im sure she would let you. because thats why shes worried in the first place.
Reply:If she says no it%26#039;s for a reason. How old are you? It might be because there are so many dirty perves out there who would love to get their hands on young girls...not joking. I%26#039;m not being paranoid either, I guess I%26#039;m old enough to not be so naive about the internet. If you want to talk to your friends, that%26#039;s what email is for...but as for meeting guys online, if you are too young for Myspace, you are clearly too young to date. Save yourself for when you get older. Enjoy being young.
Reply:well what i said to my parents ( because i wasnt supposed to have a myspace ) is that a friend really wanted to talk to me and the friend set it up. and my parents were cool. but i personally dont care for myspace and i am never on it.
Reply:Tell your mom that you will let her watch everything you do while you are on myspace for her approval at each step. Myspace profiles can be setup as private only allowing those that you approve as your friend to see your profile so that might help put your mom at ease as well.
Reply:Lets look at this from your moms view. Anyone can create a Myspace account and profile using a fake email address, fake profile images, fake pics and videos. A 65 year old perv can easily build a convincing MySpace profile that says he is 12 and just wants to be your friend. So give Mom some credit; and even when you are old enough to have a site do not post any personal information such as real name, address, school that anyone could trace back to you. Be Smart.
Reply:I hate to say it, but I%26#039;m just trying to be honest. Your parents might be spookd about the Bad things that happen on Myspace and that reason might make it where they want change there mind for anything :( . But..... there%26#039;s a %26quot;but%26quot;

You never know if you don%26#039;t try lol

hmm....... Got it. Maybe you can ask them to set up a myspace page for you. Reason that could help them learn more about myspace and the options it offers.

Tell them that myspace have great options where you can restrict certain people from viewing or talking with you tell them you gonna only talk with friend you know and allow only friend you know.

Good Luck if you ever get on become a Redskin fan Myspace.com/redskinz Good Luck!
Reply:give her your password

tell her tht your old enough to have one and you think tht your responsible enough

or do wht i did

make one and when shes in the room say look at my myspace

my parents didnt care when i said tht

and how old are you anyways?
Reply:does your mom know you have this account??? if so, then tell her that Yahoo Answers can be just as bad as My Space. there are sketchy, perverted people stalking the pages of young kids here too!!! this world is sick...
Reply:Dont make one. I had myspace but it is boring, so i deleted it.And it means you are a no life if you make one.
